Spotty Green Frog

Based in Ribchester, Lancashire, in the heart of the Ribble Valley countryside, Spotty Green Frog is an online supplier of educational toys and imaginative wooden toys to both schools and homes. They started out as an educational supplier in 1995 to schools supplying children's garden tools, science sets, historical childrens costumes, live butterfly sets and traditional wooden toys that encourage learning, creativity, role play and interaction.

They later expanded to supply other public sector customers such as paediatric wards at NHS hospitals, The Royal Gardens, Kew Gardens, Beamish Museum and museums all across the UK. In 2008 Spotty Green Frog opened its own website and started selling to the general public. The wooden toy range has expanded to over 3,000 products, all stocked and dispatched from their 5,000 square foot warehouse.

The aim of the Company has always been to offer toys that are not only educational and stimulating but durable and built to last and assist children in their development. All of the products that they sell have been tested and reviewed to ensure that they encourage creativity and imagination in children. The Company attend educational fairs and toy fairs in Europe, America and Asia several times a year to select their products. Many of their products are from small, boutique manufacturers and are either sold exclusively by Spotty Green Frog or are only available from specialised retailers.

Products from popular and well respected wooden toys brands such as Le Toy Van, John Crane, Brio, House of Marbles, Janod and Thames & Kosmos are also available. The Company produces a printed catalogue every year and their website offers a very comprehensive search friendly category selection with detailed product descriptions and images.
